He was predeceased by: his brothers, Nestor and Abel Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Barrera Tamez; his son George Tamez of Edna; and his siblings, Maria T. Martinez (Ninfa), Lidia T. Savala, Adelayda T. Gonzalez, Herminia T. Perez, Henry Tamez and Arthur Tamez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the CDC guidelines for the pandemic, masks are required at the funeral home, and seating will be limited.
