It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Douglas Hayman of Edna, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milam Hayman and Sybil Hayman Stephens; his stepfather D. D. Stephens; his uncle Jim Reynolds; and his aunt Anita "Niter" McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jean Garrett; his daughters, Kami Muschalek (Darrell), Kristi Fyke and Leigh Miller (Justin); his grandchildren, Weston (Shannon), Caleb Muschalek, Ashton, Kaylee Schneider, Kayghan Stewart, Kayden, Kallan and Kinleigh Miller; his great grandchildren, Levi Muschalek and Elias Schneider; and his siblings, Wanda Dawson and Rev. Kenneth Hayman (Cathy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
