It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joalyn Sue Smith of Edna, Texas, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merven Welsey Reed and Hope Reed. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Smith Kotlar (Larry), Steven Reed Smith (Shongh) and Todd Lloyd Smith; her grandchildren, Ross Kotlar (Gretchen), Kamryn Elliott (Derrick), Allison Kotlar, Derek Smith and Brandon Smith; and her siblings, Virginia Kay Remillard and John Wesley Reed. She is also survived by 8 Great-Grandchildren.
