He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cleveland Hughes and Minnie Dowlearn; his parents, George Norman Williamson and Velma Irene Williamson; his siblings, Gordon Williamson and Betty Jo Lasater; and his niece Joyce Elaine Williamson.

He is survived by: his wife Edna Belle Everett; his siblings, Robbie Robertson, Mary Bolton, Glenda Garcia, Ray Williamson and Bill Williamson (Edna Belle Williamson); his children, Sharon Heddleston (Tracy), Linda Morrow (Oz), Mark Williamson (Stacy) and Norma McCoy (Stephenson); and his grandchildren, Justin Williamson (Jaclyn), Samantha Mendez, Derrick Bender, Dusty Kirksey, Ashley Williamson, Kody Kirksey, Megan Williamson, Orland Mendez, Jr. (Cindy), Trey Vargas and Deago Vargas. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He went on to live in many towns across Texas and spent the last couple of years in his life battling Alzheimer's in Seguin, Texas.
