He is survived by: his wife Adriana Luera Hernandez; his children, Debra Perez, Mary Hernandez (Louie), Lupe Hernandez (Brian), Ninfa H. Cortez (Frank), Eugene Hernandez Jr. and Richard Hernandez; and his siblings, Anastacia Garza (Tocha), Joe M. Hernandez (Florence), Theresa Soto (Tede), Mary H. Quintero and Lilly Garza (Reyes). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
