He was predeceased by: his children, Andy Ramirez and Cristina Robles; his siblings, Eva Pena, Salome Castro, Santos Castro, Mary Betsy Castro, Adam Castro, Manuel Castro, Conza Castro and Guadalupe Castro; his granddaughter Ashley M. Castro; and his great grandchild Marleigh Lewis.

He is survived by: his children, Ray Castro, Gilbert Castro, Roy Castro (Adela), Adrian Castro (Trish), Gloria Castro, Martha Castro (Martin) and Monica Guerra. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren; forty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
