It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emma Whitley (Edna, Texas), who passed away on March 19, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilkerson and Dollie Wilkerson; her husband Douglas Wayne Whitley; and her siblings, Tom Wilkerson and Florence Bolman.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Hammack (Tommy) and James Whitley (Janet); her sister Louise Wilkerson; her grandchildren, Dana Huber, Wayne Whitley, Shelby Scarborough, Nathan Hammack and Brendan Hammack; and her great grandchildren, Savannah Huber, Walker Huber, Emersyn Whitley and Riley Scarborough.
Interment will follow at Wilkerson Cemetery in Edna, In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contribution be made in honor of Emma at Jackson County Memorial Library; 411 N. Wells St. Suite #121, Edna, TX 77957.
