He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Avalos and Maria Guadalupe Lopez; his wife Maria Asuncion Avalos; his daughter Rosario Avalos; and his siblings, Felipe Avalos Lopez, Federico Avalos Lopez, Eldifonsa Avalos, Consepcion Avalos and Candelaria Avalos.
He is survived by: his children, Alejandro Avalos (Claudia), Jesus Avalos (Norma), Federico Avalos (Magali), Cesar Emigdio Avalos (Nidia), Teresa Gonzalez, Luisa Espino (Martin), Olga Medina (Simon), Flor Elizondo (Ramon) and Aide Amaya (Richard); and his siblings, Margarito Avalos Lopez, Anselmo Avalos Lopez, Enrrestina Avalos and Mariana Avalos. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
