He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Emil Hajek and Janie Vana Hajek. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Rasmussen Hajek; his children, Dexter James Hajek (Diane) of Alice, Michael Anthony Hajek (Melissa) of Hallettsville, Gretchen Zbranek Dodds (Craig) of Edna and Laya Zbranek Clowers (Shane) of Edna; and his siblings, Betty Lou Novak (Hank) of Shiner and Robert Hajek of Victoria. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
