He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman "Fuzzy" and Allie Gillespie (Linney); and his brother Bruce Gillespie. He is survived by: his wife Becky Lynn Fitch; his daughters, Leslie Maldonado (Andrew) of Raymondville and Courtney Boenig (Dan) of Inez; his siblings, Grady Gillespie (Debbie) of Victoria and Judy Morgan (John) of Rosenberg; and his grandchildren, Preston, Katarina, Violet, Cory, Vivian, Kacey, Alison and Davis.
