He was predeceased by: his father William Calvin McDaniel; his son Billy Wayne McDaniel Jr.; his mother Hattie May McDaniel; his siblings, Pearlie Marie, William Thomas, Mabel Allene, Curtis Lee and Wilber "Mac" Leo; and his parents-in-law, Edward and Margaret Guy.
He is survived by: his former wife Vickie Loraine Pence; his children, Deanna Loraine McDaniel Parker and Timothy Wayne McDaniel Parker; his wife Edna Mae McDaniel; his daughter Melanie Mae McDaniel; his sister Shirley Ann Beaver; his grandchildren, Reagan Edward Derrick and Sarah Renee Derrick; and his close friends, Jim and Helen Favaron. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
