She was predeceased by: her husband Bernabe Escobar; her parents, Alfredo Cantu and Juanita Beltran Guerra; and her brother Guadalupe Lerma. She is survived by: her children, Debra Cavazos (John) and Steven Escobar (Joe Castro); her granddaughter Rebecca Cavazos; and her siblings, Alfredo Cantu Jr., Yolanda Herrera, Rudy Guerra, Norma Banda, Ventura Guerra and Gonzalo Morales. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
