He was predeceased by: his mother Amelia Palomo; and his brothers, Gustavo Ruiz and Rogelio Ruiz. He is survived by: his wife Maria Eva Ruiz; his children, Raziel Ruiz, Miguel Ruiz and Erika Ruiz; his grandchildren, Isaac, Evelyn, Aaiden, Allyson, Ezio and Escanor Ruiz; and his siblings, Rosa Ruiz, Mario Ruiz and Antonio Barrientos. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
