He is survived by: his wife Gloria Rodriguez Garcia; his children, Elvia Garcia Jones (Jimmy Jack), Yolanda Garcia Leverman (Mark) and Ruben Garcia Jr. (Olivia); and his sisters, Irma Courteener, Lydia Salinas and Rachel Requenez. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
