He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Ruiz and Isidra Maldonado Losoya. He is survived by: his wife Josefina R. Ruiz; his children, Alicia Ruiz-Perez, Rodolfo R. Ruiz, Rey Ruiz, Ricardo Ruiz and Rosio Ruiz; and his siblings, Guadalupe Ruiz (Connie), Martha Contreras (Armando), Albina Gonzalez (Juan Pablo) and Alberto Ruiz (Guadalupe). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home (322 E Kuhn St, Edinburg, TX 78541). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
