He was predeceased by: his parents, Elpidio Alva Alonzo and Juanita Mendez; and his siblings, Jesus Alonzo and Elpidio Alonzo Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Aida Alonzo; and his children, Yvette Marie Hernandez (David), Tina Morales, Rodolfo Morales, Lina Morales, Jessica Caballero (Guadalupe Longoria), Amanda Garza (Abel Reyes), Joe Anthony Garza and Fernando Garza Arellano. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; seven sisters; and three brothers.
