She is survived by: her husband Manuel L. Ruiz, Jr.; her sister-in-law Isaura Villarreal; her children, Manuel Lorenzo "Larry" Ruiz, III (Elizabeth), Linda Christine Cassell, Lilia Cynthia Negrete (Agustin) and Laura Ruiz-Martinez (Joaquin "Jake"); her grandchildren, Lorenzo Ruiz, Bryan Ruiz, Andrea Negrete, Thomas Negrete, Zoe Cassell, Gabriela Martinez, Miranda Negrete, Hannah Cassell and David Martinez; and her niece Dr. E. Linda Villarreal.
