He is survived by: his wife Anna Maria Cervantes of Edinburg, Texas; his children, Velma Cervantes of Edinburg, Texas, Nicolas J. Cervantes Jr. of Edinburg and Jose Luis "Louie" Cervantes of Benavides, Texas; his grandchildren, Nicolas III, Adrian, Nicole, Natalie, Maegan and Jeffery; and his great grandchildren, Zoe, Zuri, Nicolas IV, Devin, Isabella and Maverick.
