She was predeceased by: her husband Jose M. Leal; her siblings, Arnulfo Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez, Yolanda Rodriguez Lomas, Oralia Zulema Barron and Eva Santana; and her son-in-law Eduardo Escareño.
She is survived by: her children, Anna M. Escareño, Jose M. Leal Jr., Norma E. Candanoza, Juanita E. Leal, Irma E. Leal and Nancy I. Leal; and her siblings, Paulia Rodriguez Luera and Jose Guadalupe Rodriguez. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
