He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cruz Ventura (Irene) and Daniel Pesina (Rosa). He is survived by: his parents, Benito Ventura (Betty) and William Gaskill (Irene); his wife Catalina De Aquino; his children, Eliza Marie, Matthew Benito Jr., Lilyanah Grey and Leah Gwynn Ventura; his sisters, Diane Ventura (Fernando Trevino) and Cindy Ventura (Gustavo Alfaro); and his nieces and nephews, Naomi Ventura, Alexis Salazar, Marcus Alfaro, Sofia Alfaro, Gihanna, Reynelle and Emily Trevino. He is also survived by Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
