She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Tabarez; her sons, Rogelio Tabarez and Jorge Tabarez; her parents, Domingo Tovar and Francisca Tovar; and her siblings, Felipe Tovar, Jesus Tovar, Julia Tovar, Genoveva Tovar and Luis Tovar.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Rodriguez (Jose A.), Martha Gonzalez (Salvador), Maricela Tabarez (Robert Garcia), Martin Tabarez, Jesus Tabarez, Samuel Tabarez Jr., Juan Tabarez and Judy Bernal (Ricky); and her sister Librada Tovar Ramirez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
