In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Maria had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Maria may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pantaleo Barrera and Crisofora Sandoval Barrera; her husband Alfonso Reyna; and her daughter Isabel Martinez. She is survived by: her children, Oscar Reyna (Claudia), Margarita Reyna, Lydia Espinoza (Fausto) and Veronica Reyna-Vasquez (Isaias). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM at the Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home (322 E Kuhn St, Edinburg, TX 78541). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
