It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcelino Olivarez Jr. of Edinburg, Texas, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcelino Olivarez and Hortencia Olivarez Sr.; his brother Omar Olivarez; and his in-laws, Alejo and Sara Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda Olivarez; his children, Marcelino Olivarez III (Martha) and Iris Olivarez Saenz (Aaron); his grandchildren, Lizbeth Olivarez, Madison Olivarez, Lily Olivarez, Karina Saenz, Ella Saenz, Aaron Saenz Jr. and Angel Saenz; his sisters, Melva Ramirez and Maria Lourdes Canales; and his sister-in-law Maria Manuelita Olivarez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
