She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomas Mares and Benigna Sanchez; and her son Domingo Garcia. She is survived by: her son Rene Garcia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (900 S 23rd St, McAllen, TX 78501). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Gardens (3605 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573).
