He was predeceased by: his son Hermenjildo Reyna; his parents, Hilario Reyna and Francisca Reyna; and his siblings, Maria Castillo and Hilario Reyna.
He is survived by: his wife Micaela Reyna; his children, Maribel Gonzales (Joe), Abigail Cavazos (Jerry), Jubel Reyna and Seth Reyna; and his siblings, Victor Reyna, Manuel Reyna, Consuelo Mora, Esperanza Eguia, Emma Magana and Ramiro Reyna. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - Edinburg (208 E Canton Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A rosary was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (215 N 16th Ave, Edinburg, TX 78541). A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Val Verde Memorial Gardens (6200 N Val Verde Rd, Donna, TX 78537).
