She was predeceased by: her parents, Prudencio Castilleja and Eutiquia Sanchez Castilleja; her husband Juan Ruiz; and her daughter Anna Ruiz Cantu. She is survived by: her daughter Carmen Flores (John); and her grandsons, Alexander Trey Cantu and Juan Ezequil Flores. She is also survived by her family, friends.
