He is survived by: his father Andres Ramirez; his wife Elida Gomez Ramirez; his son Eloy Garza (Estella); and his granddaughters, Melissa Garza, Susan Garza and Hilda Garza. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
