He is survived by: his children, Jose Juan "JJ" Soto Jr. (Sandra) of Edinburg, Gabriel Soto (Jeannie) of Edinburg, Christina Isabel Ortiz-Soto (Gabby) of Edinburg and Miguel Soto (Monica) of Edinburg; his grandchildren, Mikaela Medrano, Meagan Medrano, Joaquin Soto, Lauren Soto, Julian Soto, Miranda Medrano, Matthew Soto, Misabel Soto and Mariano Soto; and his siblings, Eva Pineda of Edinburg, Guadalupe Garza of Edinburg, Paula Zepeda of Edinburg, Hortencia Salinas of Denton and Jesse Soto of Houston.
