He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Jesus Lopez Sr. and Antonia Espericueta Lopez; and his siblings, Jaime Miguel Lopez, Juan Lopez, Jesus Lopez Jr., Hilda Garcia and Paulita Capetillo.
He is survived by: his wife Llolanda Lopez; his daughters, Gabriela Pena (Mario Jr.) and Georgina Garza (Nathan); his grandchildren, Adrian Garza, Noah Garza, Emma Lee Pena and Nehemiah Garza; and his siblings, Jose Manuel Lopez, Joel Lopez, Odilia Ozuna, Concepcion Lopez, Yolanda Lopez, Antonia Lopez and Maria Teresa Respondek.
