He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Friesen and Katherina Classen Friesen. He is survived by: his wife Viola Engstrom; his daughter Pam; and also, Sheri Koch, Manny, Jane Gutierrez, Henry, Judie Tippie, Norma and Armand Rouleau. He is also survived by other family members, friends.
