He is survived by: his children, Deborah Garcia of McAllen, TX, Robert Atkins of Austin, TX, Jeffrey Atkins (Berta) of Gruene, TX and Linda Blackwell (Craig) of McAllen, TX; and his caregivers, David, Mari and Darlene. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
