She was predeceased by: her husband Rogelio Rojas; her parents, Efrain Chapa and Guadalupe Hernandez; and her sisters, Alicia Gutierrez, Delia Chapa and Lidia Lozano.
She is survived by: her children, Ida Pena, Melinda Rojas-Jones (Michael Jones), Juan Rojas and Adolfo Rojas; her sisters, Angelica Chapa and Juanita Valdez; her grandchildren, Nicole Fuentes, Thomas Pena III, George Fuentes, Blanca Pena and Alessandro Pena; and her great grandchildren, Sebastian Letts, Noah Torres and Malia Fuentes.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Palm Valley Memorial Gardens (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577).
