With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Iliana Nagera Herrera (Edinburg, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 51. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Iliana Nagera leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Iliana Nagera may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosendo Nagera and Olivia Nagera; and her brother Rene Nagera. She is survived by: her husband Jose Armando Herrera; her children, Rocio Herrera, Jose Armando Herrera Jr. and Diego Herrera; and her sisters, Icela Nagera and Isabel Nagera. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A rosary was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (114 W Fay St, Edinburg, TX 78539). A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Palm Valley Memorial Gardens (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577).
