She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Diaz Sr.; her parents, Alberto Rodriguez and Donata Garza Rodriguez; her siblings, Amelia Rodriguez Garcia, Lydia Rodriguez Rivera, Mary Alice Rodriguez Alcantar, Fernando Rodriguez, Alberto Rodriguez, Noe Rodriguez and Ernesto Rodriguez; and her children, Rolando Diaz, Rene Diaz, Jaime Javier Diaz, Diana E. Diaz Garza and Alberto Diaz.
She is survived by: her children, Oscar Diaz Jr., Mary Ann Diaz Cantu, David Diaz (Elisa Cantu Diaz), Homer Diaz (Ana Cadena Diaz), Rodolfo Diaz (Lynda Ferrel Diaz) and Ruben Diaz; and her sisters, Minerva Rodriguez Garcia (Anthony Garcia) and Elida Rodriguez Oraze (Roger Oraze) of California.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - Edinburg (208 E Canton Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (215 N 16th Ave, Edinburg, TX 78541). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (1701 E Richardson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78542).
