We bid farewell to Homero Escobar (Edinburg, Texas), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 69. Homero touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Homero leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Escobar and Ninfa Escobar. He is survived by: his brothers, Heron Escobar (Brad Hood) and Roberto Escobar; his nephews, Bobby Escobar and Jorge Bazan Jr.; and his niece Victoria Escobar.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Comfort House in McAllen.
