With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Cortez (Edinburg, Texas), who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Morales and Lucia Morales; and her brothers, Israel Morales, Jorge Morales and Armando Morales.
She is survived by: her husband Ruben Cortez; her children, Nora Admire (Lewis), Ruben Cortez Jr., Lori Ellison (Miles), Melissa Cortez and Aaron Cortez (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Kaylee, Maddie, Lexie, Lucy, Camron, Evelyn, Avery, Kenzie and Jacob. She is also survived by five siblings; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
