He is survived by: his wife Elida C. Galvan; his children, Diana Cabrera (Abel) of Bryan, TX, Juanita Gomez, Sandra Hernandez (Felipe), Hector Galvan Jr., Mike Galvan, Norma Linda Lopez (Leonel), Elida Gonzalez (Luis) of Edinburg, Alicia Valderas (Alfonso) of Mercedes and Alejandro Galvan of San Gabriel, CA; his sisters, Antonia Morales of San Gabriel, CA and Maria Socorro Reyes of Puerto Rico, TX; and his grandchildren, Noe Lopez, Isaac Lopez, Daniel Hernandez, Emilio Flores, Luis Gonzalez Jr., Marco Gonzalez, Honorary, Aron Hernandez and Arturo Gonzalez. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
