It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Wayne Pursley Jr. of Edinburg, Texas, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Pursley, Sr. and Mildred O. Pursley; and his daughter Melody M. Swinnea (Brad). He is survived by: his wife Janet A. Pursley; his daughter Heather E. Axley (Jesse); his granddaughter June Williamson; his brother R. H. Pursley; his niece Madeline Pursley; his nephew Allen Pursley; and his pet Fancy.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 9:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - Edinburg (208 E Canton Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Park (6705 N Farm To Market 88, Weslaco, TX 78599).
