Though Guadalupe may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Guadalupe leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Tamez and Estela Botello Tamez; her sister Amada Perez; and her son Ricardo Chavez. She is survived by: her daughters, Cristina Zavala (Ciro) of Dumas and Elizabeth Barraza (Pilar) of Edinburg; and her siblings, Serafina Rodriguez, Hermelinda Gutierrez, Oliva Tamez, Juan Tamez and Manuel Tamez Jr.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
