He was predeceased by: his wife Ernesta Gonzalez Arispe; and his sons, Leonel Arispe, Guadalupe Arispe Jr. and Eduardo Arispe. He is survived by: his daughters, Orfelinda A. Hernandez of Edinburg, Gloria Garcia (Hector) of Edinburg, Soledad Guzman (Rolando) of Edinburg, Cruz Arispe of Edinburg and Janie Medrano (Adrian) of Edinburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
