He is survived by: his wife Karla Gamez; his children, Rachel Ann Hernandez (Rodolfo Garcia), Gregory Gil Hernandez (Patricia), Gil Rogelio Hernandez Jr. (Paula) and Jacob Isaiah Hernandez; his stepchildren, Jonathan, Berenice and Destiny Aguilar; his grandchildren, Sophia, Patrick, Mia and Lucia Hernandez; and his siblings, Petra, Gloria, Diana, Norma, Rosalva, Jaime, Benancio Jr. and Genaro.
