She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Patrick Mendoza III and Erik Mendoza; her grandchildren, Cayleb Mendoza, Makena Mendoza, Leah Mendoza and Kaydence Mendoza; and her siblings, Francisco Luna Jr., Eduardo Luna, Bertha "Birdy" Vela and Sylvia Trejo (Arteaga).
