It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flora C. Calvillo (Edinburg, Texas), who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidro Cuellar and Elvira Tovar Cuellar; her husband Raul Calvillo; her sons, Rudy Calvillo and Guadalupe Calvillo; her daughter-in-law Mary Calvillo; and her brothers, Alberto Cuellar and Raul Santiago Alvarez.
She is survived by: her children, Omar Calvillo (Alicia), Belinda Castaneda (Herminio) and Robert "Robbie" Rene Calvillo (Ana). She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ceballos-Diaz Funeral Home (322 E Kuhn St, Edinburg, TX 78541). A prayer was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery (3611 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573).
