He was predeceased by: his daughter Francisca Herrera; and his siblings, Manuel Rodriguez, Tiburcio Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Santos Velazquez, Ramona Leal, Epimenia Rodriguez and Domingo Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his wife Dominga Rodriguez; and his children, Fidel Rodriguez Jr. and Juanita Aracely Cisneros. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
