He is survived by: his wife Maria Ruiz; his children, Maria Guadalupe Reyes (Guadalupe Daniel), Fernando Ruiz Jr. (Silvia), Rodolfo and Wendy Gallegos (German); his grandchildren, Guadalupe D. Reyes Jr., Denise Reyes, Damian Reyes, Darren Reyes, Frida Ruiz, Natalie Ruiz, Marvin Ruiz, Alexis Ruiz, Monzerrat Gallegos, Santiel Gallegos and Ander Gallegos; his great grandchildren, Sebastian Reyes, Danika Reyes, Dariel Reyes, Dalila Reyes, Anthony Gamez and Leonardo Gomez; and his siblings, Rosario Leal, Georgina Rodriguez, Estela Ruiz, Rafael Ruiz, Juan Ruiz, Maria Guadalupe Cardona, Berta Castro and Jorge Ruiz.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home - Edinburg (208 E Canton Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539).
