He was predeceased by: his parents, Ismael Magallan and Julia Magallan; and his siblings, Rebecca Tijerina, Gamaliel Magallan and Roberto Magallan.
He is survived by: his wife Elda Magallan; his daughters, Diana Ascencio (Leopoldo) and Lydia Arredondo (Mario); his grandchildren, Leo, Yazmeli and Derick; and his siblings, San Juanita De La (Vicente) and Olga Montalvo (Arturo). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
