He was predeceased by: his wife Guadalupe Tobias; his parents, Gregorio Tobias and Rita Tobias; and his siblings, Baldemero, Pablo and Agustina Tobias.
He is survived by: his children, Moises Tobias (Margarita), Martha Rangel (Juan), Sara Ochoa (Jorge), Esther Rivera (Juan), Blanca E. Duarte (Eleazar), Gregorio Tobias (Maria Leonor), Elida Maldonado (Tomas) and Mayra Salinas (Roel); and his siblings, Baltazar Tobias and Hipolita Tobias. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
