He was predeceased by: his son Nicolas Angel Salazar; and his parents, Cristobal Salazar and Isaura Salazar. He is survived by: his wife Libertine Serrano Salazar; his children, Bernardo Andres Salazar, Veronica Christie Ruppar, Victoria Antoinette Salazar and Christine Landa Renee Salazar; his grandchild Parker Harrison Ruppar; and his siblings, Esperanza Salinas, Consuelo Salazar, Esteban Salazar, Carlos Salazar, Eduardo Salazar, Elizabeth Wassinger and Ricardo Salazar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
