She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Reyes and Gregoria Molina Reyes; and her siblings, Israel Reyes, Ruben Reyes, Emma Sunderland and Hilda Ramirez.

She is survived by: her husband Ricardo Balderas; her son Jorge Ricardo Balderas; and her grandchildren, Sophia Lee Balderas, Antonio R. Balderas and Alonzo K. Balderas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
