He is survived by: his wife Dora Cantu Alonzo; his children, Roland Alonzo, Robert Alonzo (Mary), Ernesto Alonzo (Brenda) and Nelda Alonzo (Roque Becerra); his grandchildren, Mark Anthony Beltran (Audrey Rubio), Janelle Aissa Beltran (Justin Garcia), Dr. Roland Matthew Alonzo (Kaylee), Phillip Michael Alonzo, Nichole Josephine Alonzo, Robert Michael Alonzo, Natalia Catalina Alonzo and Joaquin Santiago Alonzo; his great grandchildren, Kayliee Anahiz Quiroz, X'avier Elijah Garcia and Anna Norma Alonzo; and his siblings, Emilio Alonzo, Mary Lopez (Gabriel), Viola Alvarez (Efrain), Domingo Alonzo (Lilia) and Jose Alonzo (Rosie).
